So what is different? Start, there are members on Facebook. As with Facebook games, your friends can see when you run a social of Sims, and join you online.

So your friends can head Sims round your new home to check everything out, your Sim will be able to make friends, enemies or even fall in love, and it is all jolly jolly jolly jolly fun. Or at least, that idea. Our version of the Sims now's social takes so long to load that has not been reached after setting up the stage, Wikipedia just infuriatingly – we're still shown how to play the game.

GamesCom-the world's largest exhibition for games – only goes a few hours so far, but there were some pretty big announcements. Between the top of the list were Nintendo Wii new and set it to start before Christmas.

U Wii Nintendo's is one next generation consoles, we look forward to not too distant future, but despite the impending arrival, Nintendo hasn't given up on an existing technology. This means that you could find yourself with blag, a Nintendo Wii new, cheaper to go on sale.

Giant Acer smart Iconia available in September
