(NASDAQ: SMA) (TSX: SMT), announces the NextWindow ProfileTouch-2S, a new touchscreen designed for high-volume original equipment manufacturers (OEM), applications for large format hardware, such as those found corporate, retail and education environments. The ProfileTouch-2S is offered in a range of sizes of 32 (both cm) to 72.5? (182.88 cm). The larger screen size touchscreen makes it ideal for both business travellers and commercial venues, including conference rooms, shopping centers, restaurants and tourist destinations. The ProfileTouch-2S offers thin edges and a low profile, allowing easy integration into a wide range of applications for hardware. The new touch-screen supports Microsoft ® Windows ® 7, Mac OS X and Linux ® operating systems and recognize common multitouch gestures, such as zoom, rotate, press and press-and-tap. The ProfileTouch-2S is available as a fully assembled touchscreen, including glass, or as a kit of components. The Touch screen component kit is ready to be mounted on a glass substrate and optical sensors, a controller board and a passive border, which is available in standard sizes that can be cut to custom views. As the component kit includes no glass, customers can both transport costs and reduce inventory risk.
