Motorola Defy is one of the clearest Android smartphones, we reviewed; It is a bit broad, but has a screen edge to edge, an elegant rubber back and edges curved make it comfortable to use. Apart from bolts of industrial aspect around the side of the case, seems to Defy the regular Android smartphone, which is why Motorola really deserves much credit for its design.
Motorola has stressed that the Defy is not "waterproof" per, but described as water resistant and can handle is submerged in up to a meter of water. It must ensure that the flap of plastic that covers both headphones and microUSB port are closed before attempting to drown the phone; both are a little annoying to open, but effectively seal the ports of water leaks when it was closed properly.
