Show gadget Wednesday 31 August 2011Sony shocks with budget PSP E-1000: A step too far?

With the dubious State of global economy, this year's GamesCom is all about simplicity so far, with budget for Nintendo Wii and cuts an enormous price for Sony PS3 already revealed. Sony PSP is the latest to join the budget line, with new PSP E-1000 set to take on the Nintendo 3DS recently at an affordable price.

Sony PSP game console E-1000 the last head of GamesCom, it looks suspiciously like the old Sony PSP 3000. In the same shape, same format, only a new black matte to distinguish it.

Internally, Sony has made a huge change to help him fall below mark 100 euros, the company hopes it will be enough to help it compete with the Nintendo 3DS until Vita PS launched in 2012.

Unfortunately, the change is the omission of the Wi-Fi, and can also be startled enough to most people. This means you won't be able to bring online some of the latest titles, for a start, an Internet connection also means that even you can download the latest headlines straight from your PSP.

Still be able to download games but it involves a computer, a USB cable and a lot of faffing around.

One step too far? Or would you consider buying the PSP now it is set to be much cheaper? Leave a comment and let us know.
