The VIVOTEK FE8171V is integrated with the latest image processing technology for clear and useful monitoring video. Software is used to dewarp the distorted images of a fisheye lens and displays them with multiple layout options, including surround view, 180-degrees (wall mount)/360-degrees (ceiling mount) panoramic views, and regional "quad" view to supervise various requirements. The panoramic and regional view modes in particular allow for ePTZ functionality that allows a user digital to focus on multiple areas of interest can zoom in.
