The first perspective of Sims. Social revolution?

Monday, August 15The Sims Social first look. A social revolution?

After his release while on another platform — including handheld games consoles and telephones even casual games, increasing social networks like Facebook has made developers EA to create social of Sims. How is it, however? We are already trying it out – join us after the break for more information.

Typically, Jason gets the pleasure of testing of the latest games games blog. Sims social is different, however, as it is aimed at everyday users Facebook – where these are likely to buy a game console. As such, we decided to try it ourselves and see just how good.

One annoying thing about social Sims is that for the first time you run it, you have to play through a series of scenarios, letting you get to know with the controls and gameplay. Although it helps you discover what you are doing, is frustrating, not just play, find your own way.

The second thing to notice is that it can be very, very – wander off-and-cook-dinner-while-you-wait-slow. This is because social Sims depend on your Internet connection, whenever that lagging or losing connection, you'll discover timers whirring, nothing happens.

Also we found – at least at this early stage-that social workers also crashed a lot, to tell us to restart the browser. So far, … Not so good. Not all bad though. When you get your game up and running, it looks pretty good for a game in the browser, and you'll get a lot of similar functions, such as selecting your Sim character, personality, lifestyle arrangements – as you would a normal game.

So what is different? Start, there are members on Facebook. As with Facebook games, your friends can see when you run a social of Sims, and join you online.

So your friends can head Sims round your new home to check everything out, your Sim will be able to make friends, enemies or even fall in love, and it is all jolly jolly jolly jolly fun. Or at least, that idea. Our version of the Sims now's social takes so long to load that has not been reached after setting up the stage, Wikipedia just infuriatingly – we're still shown how to play the game.

We will be keeping a social & Sims though and is it a game to Facebook users regular gamers addicted! We would be happy to hear what you think. Have you tried out social Sims? There you can play this morning, noon and evening, or are you leaving it well? Leave a comment and let us know.
