The Beep It Optical Theremin Is An Unusual Musical InstrumentThe theremin is an unusual musical instrument that you don't actually touch to play. That's right, musical sounds and pitch by waving your hand close to this musical sounds, which you've probably heard, what generates sound effect gadget "B movies" from the late 1950's watch before the science-fiction. It is for quite some time we have covered unusual instruments such as the original theremin and we were pretty tickled today to see this new gadget on ThinkGeek. The beep-it Optical Theremin is powered by a single 9 volt battery and has about a big red button, a volume control, a 1/4 Jack and a Photoresistor sensor. Show different light sources as a flashlight or laser pointer leads to be super cool sound effects and is powerful enough for professional musicians, experimental music want to create. As someone who is always on the lookout for new ways creating unusual sound effects to annoy, is close to staff on Conference calls, I this unusual musical instrument have to say I really like.
